Which companies use AI interviewers?

5 min read  ·  Plumlo

When I got my first AI interview, nobody told me it was coming. The invite looked like a scheduling call.

So we started keeping track. This is every employer we could tie to a specific AI interview tool from a public source: the vendor’s own case study, the employer’s own page, or a news report. Every row links to where it came from.

If your employer is on this list, you can prepare for the exact tool.

20 companies across six AI interview tools, every one sourced, checked November 5, 2026. HireVue runs video interviews and assessments, Paradox screens and schedules by chat, Sapia.ai interviews by text, HeyMilo and Ribbon interview by voice, and ConverzAI calls candidates on behalf of staffing agencies.

How to read this list

A row means a public source ties that company to that tool for at least some of its hiring, at the time the source was published. It does not mean every role, location or country uses it today, and companies change vendors. If your company is not here, that tells you nothing either way. To check a specific invite, paste it into our invite checker.

Tools with no named employers yet

As of November 5, 2026 we found no public source naming an employer that uses these specific AI interviewers. Eightfold’s AI Interviewer launch release cites only unnamed pilots. That can change quickly, and the guides still explain how each one works: Eightfold, Tenzo AI, iMocha Tara, Apriora Alex and Nova.

Common questions

How do I find out which AI interviewer my employer uses?

Check three places in your invite: the full sender address, the domain of the interview link, and any small "powered by" line in the footer. You can paste those into our invite checker. If you are still unsure, it is reasonable to ask the recruiter whether AI will be part of the interview and which tool.

If my company is on this list, will my interview use that tool?

Not necessarily. A row means a public source ties the company to the tool for at least some of its hiring when the source was published. Companies use different tools for different roles, locations and countries, and they change vendors.

My company is not on the list. Does that mean no AI?

No. Most employers never announce which hiring tools they use, so a missing company tells you nothing either way. Our general AI interview guide works for any of them.

Why are Eightfold, Tenzo, Tara, Alex and Nova missing?

As of November 5, 2026 we found no public source naming an employer that uses those specific AI interviewers. Eightfold’s AI Interviewer launch release cites only unnamed pilots. Their guides still explain how each one works.

How often is this list updated?

We recheck it monthly and add a company only when a public source ties it to a specific tool. If you know of one, send the source to hello@plumlo.com.
