How to Prepare for an AI Interview
Most AI interviews do not announce themselves. Run a live voice mock built from the real job description and know what to fix.

By platform

One guide per AI interviewer. HireVue and Paradox Olivia are also available in six more languages.

HireVue
HireVue says its AI scores only what you say, not your face or tone of voice. What it scores, what it does not, and how to practice first.
Also inEspañolPortuguêsالعربيةहिन्दीBahasa IndonesiaFrançais
Paradox Olivia
Paradox says Olivia screens candidates against the job's requirements over text and chat. What Paradox publishes, what it does not, and how to prepare.

Sapia.ai
A text based Chat Interview: 5 to 7 written questions, about 20 to 30 minutes, not timed.
Mercor
The AI interview is the only screening step. About 20 minutes, up to 3 retakes, and long silences make the AI jump in.
HeyMilo
Records and scores every AI interview, and adds a trust score that checks for outside help.
Ribbon AI
Roughly 15 to 25 minutes, recorded and scored, with a single use link.
Eightfold AI Interviewer
Scores the content of your answers, not your accent, tone or facial expressions, but it needs your camera and microphone.
iMocha Tara
Live, adaptive voice or chat interviews in 30 languages, inside iMocha's skills platform.
Alex (formerly Apriora)
Interviews candidates by phone, video, SMS and WhatsApp. This is the employer product, not the practice interviewer on this site.
Tenzo AI
Live voice screens by phone and video, scored against a rubric the employer sets for the role.
ConverzAI (Recruiter Jamie)
Calls, texts or emails within minutes of applying through a staffing agency.
Nova (Peoplebox)
Starts the interview the instant you apply, and checks for deepfakes to verify you are really you.
Purplefish
Fast, high volume phone screens built for basic qualification questions.
Greenhouse
How structured hiring works at thousands of companies and what interviewers score.

By situation

For when the question is about the format, not the platform.
